I provide mediation and other alternative dispute resolution support, particularly in the workplace and in the field of Special Educational Needs/Disability (SEND).

As an independent practitioner based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, I provide services throughout the UK.

I am a Trained Mediator Member of the College of Mediators and hold the National Certificate in Mediation Skills (accredited by the National Open College Network and listed on OfQual’s Official Register of Qualifications).

Workplace: 23 years involvement with small businesses, including start-ups and senior management roles, plus directorships of family businesses and a regional chamber of commerce. Other workplace responsibilities include Father of the Chapel (shop steward) at a small publishing business and production editor of a national newspaper.

SEND: 12 years teaching in special education including autistic spectrum conditions and social, emotional and mental health needs (formerly social emotional and behavioural difficulties) and other conditions. Roles include school leadership; senior teacher; local authority consultant ASC/ICT teacher; and working with a SENDIAS (SEND Information, Advice and Support) service covering three local authorities to extend provision in line with the Children and Families Act 2014.

I currently have an active SEND practice, working mainly with autism in schools and other settings, and with people who have varying degrees of visual impairment.

If you would like to have a chat about how I can help you resolve conflict in your business or educational setting, please drop me an email or call 07710 440492.
